Cloudflare AI Gateway Adds Web Search API Integration

What changed?

Cloudflare AI Gateway now supports a Web Search API, partnering with Ceramic.ai, Exa, and Linkup to offer fresh, structured web context for AI applications. Developers can access web search capabilities through a direct REST API integrated with AI Gateway authentication and provider selection, or through a simple binding in Cloudflare Workers. The API delivers structured results, links to source content, and logs all activity within AI Gateway's unified observability system. Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) is supported, allowing use of existing organizational credentials with selected providers. Partners must adhere to Cloudflare's bot transparency and robots.txt respect standards. Providers offering Zero Data Retention (ZDR) are clearly marked.
